See today I have to say I am thankful for school. Now some other day I'll talk about how im thankful for school because of the opportunities it gives me and so on but today the reason is...slightly different. The reason im thankful for school on this particular day is for two reasons.
Reason one is because today my little sisters had the day off haha. Starting to see the mean-ness in this?? They had the day off and if you know me you know that I LOVE my little sisters and of course they will be the topic of many "thankful posts" in the future but if you have little kids around you a lot you know that they have just as many, lets call them un-cute moments as they do cute moments haha. The way it goes is that if they have a day off and so do I then we get to do whatever they want to do because I want them to have fun and enjoy these days you know. And we always have fun and it's always good times but these girls are 10 and 7. And they're normal so they fight a good amount. Now don't get me wrong they get along and play nice with each other but if you have siblings you know how it is.
Reason B is that Im thankful for my own school. I go to school an hour away from home and when I go Im there ALL DAY literally. And sure school can be hard and you have to think a lot when you're there, least that's what they keep telling me :] jus kidding. But at the end of the day when I go to school all day and so far away it gives me that mid-week break or "time-out" from my family that Im sure we all feel we need sometimes because by the time I get home half the house is asleep.
To end on a good note I LOVE the days off that my little sisters get because we get to be out all day doing fun things and they have fun and so do I...I wouldnt give up these days together for anything in the world!! However, I have to be honest and admit that Im glad they have school and so do I because Im sure they appreciate not having to deal with me all the time also haha.

CHALLENGE: So we all love our families I'm sure haha but Im also sure we also love the breaks we get from them every now and then. Maybe's it's your hobby like playing a sport, or your job, or school as well. And even if these places can also cause stress, we should appreciate the good they bring as well and enjoy them haha. (Again I swear I love my family and my sisters but you know..hahahha)
