Today we had a Peer Leader retreat to kick off this retreat season. And days like these just I honestly can not describe how happy and thankful they make me. Todays main topic was talking about our "Light" and through out the day we also talked about who have been "Lights" in our life. Aka people who have been positive role models for us, who remind us how beautiful life is, help us find peace or hope when we seem lost, and specific to tonights retreat people who in some way lead us/guide us to Christ and our faith.
Now if I start naming off people who have been lights to me in my life my fingers would hurt and i would get in HUGE TROUBLE cuz I will forget someone and they will feel bad haha so instead I'm just going to say that today I am beyond thankful for all the "lights" in my life and I PROMISE!! At some point through the next few weeks I will personally let you know how much you mean to me, but I really am thankful for those people in my life who always remind me of Love, both how I shoud love others but also remind me how much I am Loved as well. I know for a fact I would not be the same person I am today if it were not for these amazing people in my life who in their own way have raised me, and taught me SO MUCH!...
CHALLENGE: Think of those "lights" in your life and somehow let them know how much they mean to you in your life. As important as it is to be thankful for things in our life it is even more important to be thankful for the people in our lives because everyone is in your life for a reason and well as we know people cant stay here forever, make sure you appreciate those you love everysingle chance you get! :]
